I'm Joe Kohen, a Los Angeles–based photographer with over two decades of experience photographing people for editorial assignments, businesses, and private clients.
I've worked in fast-moving newsrooms and carefully planned commercial shoots. What matters in both is the same: putting people at ease, seeing the details, and making images that communicate.

Express Headshots are $199, Professional Branding sessions are $349, and Corporate Teams start at $750 for up to five people. Studio rental, unusual travel, and special production requests are quoted separately in advance.
Can you photograph our team at our office?Show answer
Yes. I can photograph your team at your office throughout Los Angeles, bringing a professional portrait setup. Larger groups receive a custom quote.
What if I'm uncomfortable being photographed?Show answer
That's common. I'll guide you through poses, expressions, and small adjustments to help you feel comfortable and look natural.
Do you photograph personal brands and creatives?Show answer
Absolutely. We can plan portraits around your work, workspace, or an environment that helps tell your story.
Do you offer studio sessions?Show answer
Yes. Most sessions take place at your office, home, or another agreed location. If you prefer a studio, I can arrange a rental and provide the additional cost before you book.
